| The project included 21,122 GSF of new construction along with 2,440 SF of renovation and exterior upgrades to the existing Plant Sciences building. The new building has an open lab design with the required support and graduate student spaces, one instructional lab and a departmental office suite. The new courtyard formed by the addition is a multi-function area that also serves as an outdoor instructional space for the Department of Plant & Soil Science programs. Renovations within the existing Plant Sciences building create the physical connection to the new building along with new faculty, staff, grad student offices, a break room and an accessible restroom. The project also included infrastructure upgrades, landscape enhancements and public art. |
