Michael Hopkins
Associate General Counsel
Michael Hopkins is an Associate General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the 麻豆天狼副利院.
Hopkins' primary focus is litigation involving the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel in 2024, Hopkins served as a judge advocate in the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years. As a judge advocate, Hopkins served as a prosecutor, defense counsel, policy attorney, and twice as a staff judge advocate.
Hopkins received his bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science and economics from the University of Nevada, Reno; a juris doctor from Southern Methodist University; and his master of laws in national security and U.S. foreign relations from George Washington University.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
